Remote play seems to be very misunderstood. When in remote play the Vita acts the same as a DS4 controller and mirrors the exact picture displayed on the TV, nothing more. Games don't have special co-op features with the Vita. All there is, is the standard remote play. If a game has a local multiplayer, the Vita can be one of those players.
