I have a 2008 Mondeo 1.8 TDCI Mk 4 (6sp gear box, with sports pack upgrade). Does anybody have an idea why this has happened to both systems? The full air filter does not need to be removed, just the top cover. The front part of the battery box un-clips, and you need that out of the way, too (you squeeze it in a bit).
